Dolphin Adventures in Kizimkaze

Relax back in Paje by the beach for the afternoon and enjoy the breathtaking views and the air of serenity.
Day 2: Kizimkaze Dolphin Tour
It is highly recommended to head out early on the dolphin tours. This ‘itinerary’ will follow our order which we would definitely recommend.
- Morning Departure from Paje
- Begin your day with a scenic drive from your accommodation in Paje to the quaint fishing village of Kizimkazi.
- This as approximately 40 minutes.
- We booked this through @eddie_taxi_driver_zanzibar who had been recommended to us by friends.
- Dolphin Tour (approximately 2 – 2.5hours)
- Hop into your boat with your captain and a ‘spotter’.
- Set off on an exhilarating boat trip into the sparkling waters of the Indian Ocean.
- Search for playful dolphins and experience the thrill of swimming alongside these majestic creatures.
- Snorkels and fins provided for an unforgettable underwater adventure, offering a close-up view of the vibrant marine life.
- Return to Kizimkazi Beach for lunch
- Relax on the golden sands of Kizimkazi Beach, soaking in the serene atmosphere and stunning coastal views.
- Feast on a delicious and hearty lunch at the beachfront restaurant, savoring fresh local seafood and flavorful dishes while enjoying the ocean breeze.
- They provided an ENORMOUS amount of fruit for the boys and were happy to provide more when they asked!
- Transfer Back to Paje
- Enjoy the picturesque drive back to your accommodation in Paje.
- Spend the afternoon playing in the pool and on the beach.
- Grab a cocktail or a beer and enjoy it in the sun!
- Take a wander away from the beach and explore the local markets for souvenirs. (They sell some very reasonably priced replica Tanzania and Zanzibar football shirts too!)
- There are also a lot of small restaurants, food trucks and ice creams spots very nearby.
- Dinner at Nearby Beachside Restaurants
- End your day with dinner at a nearby beachside restaurant whilst enjoying the tranquil ocean views and sunset.
- Quite a few restaurants at other accommodation were within a short walk along the beach from Mr. Kahawa Lofts.
- Staff at every restaurant we stopped at were amazingly friendly with our boys too.
