Dubai – Khasab – Dubai

We hope that this more detailed start to finish itinerary provides a clearer picture of the days traveling, timings and activities. The length of the day was perfect for our two boys at their age, and to be honest for us too!!

Day Trip Itinerary: Dubai – Khasab – Dubai

5.40am – Departure from Dubai

Depart from Dubai (Kids transferred from bed to the car in PJ’s)
Breakfast pre-packed for the road (croissants / biscuits and chocolate milk!)

7.30am – Arrival at Al Dara border post

Arrive at Al Dara border post. Park up and head into the ‘departure hall’ to get passports stamped. We met our friends at this point so used the opportunity for a bathroom break and to dress the boys for the day.
Drive through to the Oman border post, enter the ‘Arrivals hall’ and repeat the process.

8.10am – Beautiful coastal drive to Khasab

Depart from the border towards Khasab, along the beautiful coastal road.
If you have time there are plenty of empty beaches and picturesque spots to stop for photos.

8.55am – Arrival at the Tour office

Enter Khasab. Drive past the small castle and arrive at Lulu Hypermarket and the Tour company office (Khasab Dolphin Tours)

9.10am – Transfer to the Harbour

Board a traditional Omani dhow boat.
Set sail on a relaxing cruise along the fjords of Khasab.
Marvel at the crystal-clear waters and towering cliffs.

9.20 – Boat Departure

Take a refreshing swim in the turquoise waters.
Snorkel and discover the vibrant marine life.

1.00pm – Arrival back to the harbour

Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch on a scenic island.
Relax and soak up the sun in a picturesque setting.

4.10pm – Arrival Home in Dubai

Bid farewell to Khasab and start your journey back to Dubai.
Arrive in Dubai safely in the evening.
