Useful Information
Here is a run down of what we feel are the most useful or important pieces of information to best prepare you for your trip. There’s quite a lot of it!
Hatta Border
– Park on the right hand side of the ‘gates’ when you arrive at the border.
– Enter the ‘departures hall’. Remember your passports, car insurance document (digital or printed showing Oman coverage), and your car registration card (digital or printed copy)
– There is a small charge of approximately 34AED per person as an exit fee. Payable by card.
– From past experience, this process shouldn’t take more then 15-20minutes.
– There are toilets and a small coffee and snacks vending machine (only take cash)
– Once done, drive through the gates where you will just need to show the small paper slip given to you in the departures hall.
